Final decision on Chayce's Puppy.

We brought home a shih tzu last night. Less than 24 hrs after having him here I had to return him. The dog wasn't neutered and tried to mate with everything in his path. Myself included. He got violent. Clawed and scratched at me, and attempted to bite me when I tried to tell him "no". That's simply unacceptable behavior to expose Chayce to. We need a dog that is FIXED. So, we called the lady back with the Chihuahua puppy we went and saw the other night and we're sticking with the Chihuahua.

In a few weeks we'll be the owners of a 2 year old boy Chihuahua we're naming Taquito! :)
I bought him this bed.
Also got him a sweater, collar with diamonds, harness, bowls, toys, etc.
This is the shirt I'm going to give him to Chayce in! :) I just LOVE it!!!

Beginning to feel a lot like Christmas...

The decor is up, and I wanted to share! All of my decor is "Winter Wonderland" themed. Silver and White mostly. (any accent color is blue)

The new advent calendar Chayce begged for (and I caved.)

Glass tree with ornaments. I stole the idea from a display I saw at Pier 1. I recreated it myself.

My favorite part of the decor... My entertainment center.

Green Bay vs. Jacksonville

Got my tickets today for the Green Bay game! I'm BEYOND hyped about it! Not to mention, the seats I got....
LOWER LEVEL, END ZONE!!!
Here's where I'll be....
[yeah, the little red dot with the arrow I attempted, LOL]
Section 124, Row DD

*All I know is GB better kick some ass at this game!*

I WILL be there, I WILL throw something at Rodgers if he screws up, LOL.

3rd time's a charm...

Tonight will be my 3rd time to see Twilight in the theatre. And of course I'm excited!

I found 2 more homes in the Orlando area that I'm really interested in. My fingers are crossed. This one is my favorite...

Still in search of a puppy. We have found one that has potential, but in the photos she looked to be somewhat larger than I'd want. I'm not sure if it was just the camera angles, so I'm asking the person for her weight and length. She's a Shih Tzu. This is such a tough decision! In the next 90 days I will...

-Get a new puppy.
-Move to Orlando.
-Purchase an SUV.

Can we say... STRESS?! Literally having anxiety attacks over all this right now. I'm just comfortable in my home, but can't turn down something so great in Orlando to make better money, so gotta take advantage of it while we can! This is already a hectic time of year as it is, so the added stress makes it difficult for me. But it will be worth it in about 6 months. :)

Slacking.

Such a bad blogger this past week. The Thanksgiving week and weekend had me running around like a chicken with my head cut off. BUT the good news is Thanksgiving went well, the leftovers are finally gone, my Christmas decor has been up for a few days now, and I'm done Christmas shopping for Chayce.

WHEW!

We're still on the search for our Christmas Puppy. We just can't seem to find the "perfect" one. In due time.

Jon's birthday was Saturday, we went to Orlando for dinner at Chili's, looked at puppies up there, and just had some family time together. I lured him to the dark side and got him reading Twilight, LOL. He finished it today and he's excited to go see the movie! The movie, by the way, was AMAZING! The main character, Edward, is GORGEOUS if I do say so myself. LOL

I've seen the movie twice. Tomorrow will make my 3rd time. It doesn't get old! Just like the books. They're simply wonderful!

Let the cooking begin!

2 days until Thanksgiving. That only means one thing... Time to start preperations!

I woke up bright and early (as usual) today to make a few huge batches of homemade Marinara. Not for Thanksgiving, obviously, but it will get us through the next 2 weeks or so, as I make LOTS of pasta at my house.

Today I'm going to be making...

*A New York Style Cheesecake
*Pumpkin Bread
*Cornbread

Yum. Yum. And more Yum!
